“It has been so interesting to see that while the young people prioritised research on mental health and wellbeing, their approach to these topics and reasons for addressing them differed immensely from those being discussed by health professionals and academics. It highlights the need to build young people into research proposals right from formulating research questions, particularly when addressing research that is something that impacts their lives.”
